Figures in B&W  -  some with tints
About the pictures
This is a first effort at converting digital color images to digital B&W images. I undertook this in anticipation of a call for entry which said "this is an open concept show with only three restrictions: works must be black and white, lens-based and contain a human figurative element or elements."
In a secondary effort I have in some some images reintroduced color tints.

The series has the working title "My Mask is My Protection" In some ways, we all employ "masks" of sorts at various times for various reasons. Sometimes a mask is a deflection and offers a feeling of protection. These images all have masks somewhere within them.
